I just wrote a fairly lengthy post about why I went on my blogging break and why I’m back however while trying to add a photo, WordPress helpfully wiped everything I’d written. Grrr….!
So the long and the short of it is that you’ve been spared the text-heavy waffle post, and instead you’ll get a nice photo update in the next few days.

Welcome back! I was on a blogging break myself and can’t explain how good it feels to be back. 🙂
It’s lovely to see you again. WordPress doesn’t seem to like me much either at the moment, but I’ve found that if I go into text mode to upload pictures it works most of the time.
Ooh, thanks for the tip Fleur. I think it was probably user-error due to my being confused with the new style!
